  • exporting raw logs from proxysg

    Hi All,

Just want to know how we can export raw logs from ProxySG.

    Is it under Statistics>Access Logs?

And do we need to start tail?

    Thanks.

    Regards,

    Hi,

The option Statistics>Access Logs is for viewing whether there is anything getting logged in the file or not. If you want to export the logs to some other server for parsing, you can use the upload option at Configuration > Access Logging > Logs > Upload Client (and then Upload Schedule) .

If your plan is to download the file from Proxy, you can follow the article http://bluecoat.force.com/knowledgeb...pleteAccessLog .

        Hi,

Restarting proxy should not affect the access-log movement as Proxy will also keep a copy until it is moved to another device like FTP server. This local storage is having a capacity of 20GB which is good enough. Restarting proxy will affect the user traffic still.
