  • ProxySG to ASG migration errors

    Hi all
    I had to migrate a proxySG 900 in 6.5.9.7 to an ASG s400 in 6.6.3.2.

    Unfortunetly I could not upgrade sg900 to 6.6.3.2 before migration.

    WHile migarting conf file I had some errors like :

    Error 1:
    10.10.251.1 - Blue Coat ASG-S400 Series#(config access-log)edit format cifs ;mode
    % Format does not exist.

    ok

    Probably the log format "cifs" does not exit, so yu have to create it first. Or if you don't use this log format anyway, then you can skip this part.

    Did you copy the default keyring over to the new device? Otherwise you cannot decrypt the passwords (not a problem if you decide to type them in again).

    You have to configure and download the Bluecoat Webfilter database before importing the policy, otherwise the categories don't exist.

    ASG does not support ADN, so you cannot import any configuration regarding ADN.
