  • Auto log out from web GUI

    Hi,

    Do you know if there's some configuration for auto log out of idle users? Either it's not in web gui or I can't find it.

    Thanks.

    If you are referring to UI idle timeout for admins, this setting is found in Configuration > Authentication > Console Access > Console Account.
    In CLI, the command is "security management web-timeout <minutes>"

      Hi igado19,

      Thanks for the try, but I'm referring to MAA, what you wrote is for ProxySG config :-) And it's idle timeout for GUI, just to be more specific ;-)

        Hi Ales,

        I have confirmed that the requested configuration for auto log out idle users is not made available even on current latest version, the function is not available from GUI and in linux level.

        I did find this in db but I don't believe altering this will have any changes to it or better still, not being tested in engineering/QA environment, thus might not be recommended.

        mysql>show variables like "%timeout%";

        +--------------------------+-------+
        | Variable_name | Value |
        +--------------------------+-------+
        | connect_timeout | 5 |
        | delayed_insert_timeout | 300 |
        | innodb_lock_wait_timeout | 50 |
        | interactive_timeout | 28800 |---->8 hours.
        | net_read_timeout | 30 |
        | net_write_timeout | 60 |
        | slave_net_timeout | 3600 |
        | table_lock_wait_timeout | 50 |
        | wait_timeout | 28800 | ---->8 hours.

          There is a RAPI connection timeout, but not a GUI timeout in MA.
